Data Deletion
Your data is yours. idX follows a device-first philosophy:
- Local Data: All inventory data is stored on your device. Uninstalling the app permanently removes all records.
- Accounts: We do not use accounts. There is no server-side user data to delete.
- Analytics: For diagnostic data removal, contact jeffreyoduroasante@gmail.com.
Privacy Policy
This policy outlines how idX handles your information. Privacy is a core feature, not an afterthought.
Collection & Usage
We do not collect or transmit personal data. All entries—names, images, prices, and locations—are stored exclusively in your device's sandboxed storage.
- No Accounts: No sign-in required.
- On-Device: AI processing and database storage happen locally.
- Permissions: Camera and Photo access are used only for item logging. Location access is used to tag item coordinates locally.
In-App Purchases
Subscriptions are managed via Apple's App Store. We do not access your payment details.
Third-Party
The free version uses Google AdMob. Anonymous data may be used by Google for ad relevancy. See Google's Privacy Policy.

By using idX, you acknowledge:
- The app is provided as-is.
- Data backups (exports) are the user's responsibility.
- AI identification is an assistant tool and may vary in accuracy.
